Six ambassadors present their letter of credence to Prez Yadav

 

Kathmandu, Sept 2

President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has today received the letter of credence from ambassadors of different six countries.
At a special programme organised at the Office of the President at Shital Niwas, Ambassador of Finland to Nepal Mr Jurma Suvanto, Ambassador of Lao People's Democratic Republic to Nepal Mr Southam Sakonhninhom, Ambassador of Republic of Philippines to Nepal Ms Teresita C. Doza, Ambassador of Bahrain to Nepal Tareq Mubarak Bin Daineh, Ambassador of Canada to Nepal Nadir Patel and Ambassador of Italy to Nepal Mr Enzo Angeloni presented their letter of credence to President Yadav.
Ambassador of Finland to Nepal, Suvanto is a residential ambassador while other ambassadors reside in New Delhi with concurrent accreditation to Nepal.
Present on the occasion were Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pandey, Acting Chief of the Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri, Officiating Foreign Secretary, Shanker Das Bairagi, and senior officials at the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
